Harvard Track comes to Houston!

Dear Harvard Club Member,

I hope this finds you well.  For the 36th year in a row, the Harvard Track and Field program will be spending their spring break (March 11-18) in Houston, TX.  The team trains at Rice University and will be competing this year on Thursday, March 15th at the University of Houston.

One of the key components of this trip has been the gracious hospitality the team has enjoyed from host families who have offered to open up their homes to groups of team members, usually ranging from 2-4 student-athletes.  Due to a variety of circumstances, there are currently only beds for 17 of the 50 team members who have been selected for the trip.  Would you please consider opening your home to host a few current Harvard undergraduates?  While we ideally would love for our student-athletes to be in walking distance of Rice, we are fortunate to have a number of rental vehicles that can be used to transport them each day back and forth to practice and other events.

A million apologies for the last minute notice, but if you are interested in hosting, please contact me today, March 5th  at Trackandfieldxc@fas.harvard.edu with the subject line “Houston Host.”     We thank you in advance for your consideration and are looking forward to another great week down in Houston.

All the best,

Jason Saretsky
