Dear Members and Friends,

Please join us for our Annual Meeting and Picnic on Sunday, August 12th at the Rice University area home of Charles and Tina Browne.  Harvard Club members, non-Harvard guests, current and upcoming Harvard students and their parents are all welcome.  This is a wonderful opportunity to send off our new freshmen - come say hello, meet or revisit with old friends and other alumni and find out about the Harvard University Club and our upcoming events.

Entertainment for the little ones includes Pony Rides and a super cool Petting Zoo!!!  Enjoy our favorite catered Tex-Mex cuisine, a cold beer or the popular 'George' Margaritas and have a great time!  See details below:

 TIME:  6 pm to 8 pm
 MENU:  Catered Mexican {Tex-Mex} Cuisine
 Enjoy a cold beer, or the club favorite - the 'George' Margarita  
 
 COSTS:

 $20 - Adult Member (members, spouses, or parents
            of Harvard students).

  $25 - All non-member Adults (who are not parents
           or spouses)

  $15 - Recent Grads {Class of '07}, & kids over age 12 
             

  $10 - Incoming Students, & kids ages 5 to 12


 FREE for Toddlers under age 5

    Avoid walk-in fees  &  sign up early 

 PARKING:  Ample neighborhood street parking available {but you
 park at your own risk}. A better choice might be 
 parking for $1 in the Rice University Stadium
 parking lot directly across the street.

Walk-ins at the picnic are always welcome but there is an additional fee of $5 per person at check-in for all walk-ins and same day sign-ups.  We have to turn in a final headcount to the catering company a couple of days before our picnic: Help us plan a better event for you, save on registration and sign up a few days before the picnic (by Aug 7th)!!!  Club event refunds are given with a 48 hour notice to our club administrator, Maureen Garnett at HClubHouston@att.net.

A registration check-in table will be set up at the picnic entrance.  Name badges will be distributed to everyone who registers in advance to attend the Club's Annual Picnic.
