About Prof. Gill
Prof. Gill is the Founder of Palo Alto-based Vanguard Ventures. He teaches at Harvard Medical School, MIT and is Professor of the Practice of Entrepreneurship at Rice University. He serves on the boards of M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, The Horatio Alger Association, Project Hope and the Presidents’ Circle of the National Academies. He is a trustee of IU and is on the Executive Council of The Texas Emerging Technology Fund. Linda and Jack Gill established the Gill Foundation of Texas, focused on educational philanthropy. He earned his bachelor’s degree in chemistry and engineering from Lamar University in 1958 and received his Ph.D. in organic chemistry from Indiana University in 1962.
About Mr. Reamer
Mr. Reamer is the Managing Partner and Founder of Post Cove Partners, an advisory firm focused on early stage and middle market businesses. He is also Managing Director at 1836, a Houston-based network of investors and business owners focused on supporting veteran entrepreneurship through investment. He earned a BS from the United States Military Academy at West Point, and an MBA from the Yale School of Management.
