Hello Harvard Alumni and Friends,

Take in a ball game with us on Saturday, April 29th!  Join us for Houston's first Spring Back to Harvard event as the Houston Astros take on the Oakland A's at Minute Maid Park.  Spring Back to Harvard is a new series of events sponsored by the HAA and taking place across the globe this spring.  These events aim to reconnect Harvard grads and their families with local Harvard alumni through fun, family-friendly activities with a focus on alumni between six and twenty-five years after graduation (but all alumni are welcome)! The Harvard University Club of Houston reserved a block of seats in the Bull Pen section for the April 29th game.  Our section in the Bull Pen is a super fun vantage point, and considered 'home run' territory, near the new Shake Shack and Torchy's Tacos stand.  If you have any questions or need help registering, contact HClubHouston@att.net for immediate assistance.  Here are all the details:

 

Saturday, April 29 game begins at 6:10 p.m.
Please arrive at Union Station by 5:15 to allow time to pick up your tickets and walk to the pre-game meeting.

Ticket price is $34 each and our Harvard block of seats is in the Bull Pen Box, 152-156 in Right Field.  The Bull Pen section is located a little further from home plate, with a little more room.  It is a fun vantage point, and it is in home run territory, so it is the best location to get those home run balls!  Please remember there are a limited number of seats available in our block of seats, so please purchase your ticket early.

TICKET DISTRIBUTION, PRE-GAME MEETING INFO, PARKING

PLEASE NOTE: There has been a change in the ticket pick-up location - We have been asked to move our check-in table to the Union Station Board Room because the entire Union Station lobby will be buzzing with kids attending at a YMCA function held in the lobby.  So, once you arrive at Union Station, proceed to the Board Room located on the 2nd floor.  There is an elevator in the Union Station lobby that will take you to the 2nd floor Board Room - exit on the 2nd floor, take a left around the corner and the board room is down the hall.  If you are late and miss the pre-game meeting in the Board Room, your tickets will be sent over to Will Call after 6 p.m.  The pre-game meeting will be held in the Board Room on the 2nd floor of Union Station.  Our guest speaker is Mike Dillion, Vice President, Strategy and Analytics for the Astros organization.
 

For parking, we recommend that you park on the west side of the ballpark for easiest access to the Harvard pre-game event.  You will enter the ballpark form Crawford Street, just north of Union Station.
