Harvard's 375th Anniversary Celebration at the Jr. League, May 11th

Mark your calendars and plan to join us at 6 pm on Friday, May 11th, 2012 at Harvard's 375th Anniversary Celebration, to be held at The Houston Junior League. 


During the Fete, the Harvard University Club will be presenting the Harvard Club of Houston Crimson Awards, which are given by our Club to Harvard alumni who have contributed to the Houston community, distinguished themselves in their careers, and reflected positively on Harvard.  This year's awards will be presented to Judy Ley Allen (MBA 1963), Harris (Shrub) Kempner, Jr. (AB 1961), and Robert (Bob) Sakowitz (AB 1960), by Ellen Gordon Reeves (AB 1983, EdM 1986), President of the Harvard Alumni Associations.

The Fete is a black tie affair and will include a reception, silent auction, dinner, dancing and a special musical performance by Harvard's own renowned pianist Evelyn Chen (AB 1990).  It will be a celebration of all things Harvard, with special guests Ellen Gordon Reeves (AB 1983, EM 1986), President of the Harvard Alumni Association, and Philip Lovejoy, Deputy Executive Director of the HAA.  The Fete is expected to be sold out.  Buying a table or tickets now will ensure your ability to enjoy and contribute to this worthwhile event.
